How is the Nursing Component determined? What MDS questions impact the Case Mix Group?

The Nursing Component is the best place to start when learning how PDPM works. It is the only piece of PDPM that is most similar to the RUG system, and it is the PDPM Component with the most material to review when determining the Case Mix Group.

We will be working in the Orange Section of the PDPM Cheat Sheet for this portion, as well as referring to the Function Score Training sheet (both found on the PDPM Course Home Page) Having both of these handy for the presentation will help integrate the material.
