mDS updates for 10/1/25 – Minor & Major!

There are a mix of MDS changes for 10/1/25, some minor and some major!

Minor changes include updated text and skip patterns.

Major changes include the removal of Section O: Therapy Days, Minutes, Modes, Start/End Dates and more!

For States that have used RUG scores in determining how SNFs are paid for residents in a Medicaid bed, we have included information on how the removal of Section O may impact your therapy volume, involvement and Part B revenue.
