- Description:
- As major changes to the MDS process and the MDS itself are upon us, now is the time for SNF therapy professionals to dig in and learn all they can about the MDS and all that it impacts . The MDS is tied to reimbursement for Medicare Part A residents and non-Part A residents alike, as well as the Quality Measures, 5 Start Rating on Nursing Home Compare and more. How the MDS is coded will determine ALL 5 components of the Patient Driven Payment Model after 10/1/19. This comprehensive course is designed for the SNF therapy professional to provide an in depth understanding of the RAI Process and the Minimum Data Set tool used for every SNF resident. Historically, therapists may have had limited exposure to the MDS, though the future of SNF care demands a greater understanding in order for facility success. The course video series covers what therapists in the SNF setting need to know to continue to be leaders in the field.
- This course is appropriate for Rehab Managers, PT, PTA, OT, COTA and SLP in the SNF setting. Participants will be able to view the video series and digest the information at their own pace. Upon successful completion of a Quiz, participants will be able to print out a Certificate of Completion for their records.
